The headline feature is a security audit step added to the add-skill command. Before installing any skill, Boost now runs a security review, giving developers visibility into potential issues before code enters their project. Github PR

A new laravel-best-practices skill encodes Laravel's established patterns and conventions directly into Claude's context, making AI-assisted development more aligned with community standards. Github pull request

For teams managing multiple skills, the update adds an ignore option to the skills update command, allowing selective updates rather than bulk upgrades.

Other changes include the removal of Herd MCP integration in favor of direct Herd CLI usage, and token optimization of the core guideline — reducing prompt overhead during AI sessions.

The release also includes minor fixes: an oauth field for OpenCode Nightwatch MCP config, improved folio-routing descriptions, and typo corrections in the Livewire skill.

For more complete information regarding this update, see the full changelog.

Laravel Boost is available now via the Laravel CLI.
